Hello
Parents!!!
My name is Mrs. Jessica
Percifull, and I am so excited to be your child’s toddler teacher. I have been teaching at Discovery
Island for three years but have taught in daycare for many more years than that. I just love working with
children, and the toddler age is my absolute favorite! They grow and learn soooo much at this stage in
their lives. What an exciting time!!
On a more personal note, I recently graduated from ASU in May of 2008 with my bachelors degree in Business Management.
I live right here in Jonesboro, and I am married to my wonderful husband Bradley of six years. We
have one son, Tyler, who is five years old. He is the light of our lives – what a character!!
We also have three cats named Tigger, Kodi, and Gabby. My family is extremely important to me, and
I just love spending as much time with them as I can!!
Throughout this school year, you will see your child grow so much – not just physically, but mentally
and emotionally as well. We will begin learning color and shape recognition, as well as reciting the numbers
1-10 and the alphabet. We will also work on taking turns, sharing, and using our words instead our hands
or teeth. Our days will be filled with so many fun activities, such as singing, dancing, reading, playing
outside, and doing art projects!! Your child is going to have a blast!!!
On
an individual basis, I will begin working with your child on the adventures of potty training. However,
this must be a collective effort of working at home and at school. So, when you feel that your child is
ready to take that step, just let me know, and we will begin working on it right away!
I can’t wait to get to know your child and watch him/her grow and learn each and every day!
