Hi there! And welcome to my classroom! It is such a joy to work with children I and I am very
happy to have your child in my class!
My goal this
year is to help your child learn to explore the world around him/her. I want to help them improve their
verbal and motor skills, teach them colors and shapes, and introduce numbers, letters, body parts, and the five
senses. I will help your child learn to potty train when you feel they are ready. I believe in having patience
and love when teaching a child. I will care for them just as I want my children cared for. I also want to help
your child learn to play with others and share.
I believe our relationship is so important, so
I will always keep you informed of upcoming events and everyday activities. You will receive a daily report sheet
each afternoon. It will tell you about our daily activities such as lesson, art, music and story time, plus it
will inform you of how your child ate, slept and document potty times. I will attach notes about upcoming events, from
directors, or any other information you will need. Each month, you will receive a calendar and newsletter. This
will help you know what we are learning , and even when we are painting. These will also be posted for you in our
Parent Information Center located in the classroom. Any party sign-up lists or other important notices will also
be posted here.
We celebrate most holidays throughout the year. Any time you would like to help
out, please let me know. If you would like to send a special snack for your child's birthday, we will do this
at afternoon snack. Please remember we can't serve any Peanut products, hard candy, popcorn or hotdogs.
