snack and meal times
For Buildings 1 & 2 Discovery Island serves a morning snack, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack daily. All food and drinks (milk, juice, water) are included in the cost of tuition. Snack and meal times are posted on the daily schedule for each class.
For Buildings 3 & 4 (Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4) Discovery Island serves a morning snack and an afternoon snack daily. Parents must provide a nutritional lunch daily for their child. Lunches must be ready to eat items as their lunch boxes will remain in their cubby until their designated meal times. All drinks (milk, juice, water) are included in the cost of tuition. Allergies and special needs
We understand that some students may have allergies or special food needs for a variety of reasons and do our best to accommodate those. Upon enrollment you will discuss a food and allergy plan with a director to ensure that your child's unique needs are met.
The Menu
Our menus are created with children's nutritional needs and tastebuds in mind. Whole milk is served at morning snack and lunch and water is served for afternoon snack. Some sample menu items are listed below.
