Our Weather Policy

The weather is usually sunny on the Island, but if bad weather moves in and roads are unsafe for our customers and staff, we will close. We will make every effort to remain open on a regular basis and make decisions independent from the public school district. Closings will be announced on this page, our facebook page, and through our  "One Call Now" telephone notification system. If the closing is announced in the middle of the day, please pick up your child immediately. Please note, refunds/credits shall not be issued for days closed due to inclement weather.

Outdoor play is a vital part of each child's day. All children will spend a minimum of one hour outdoors each day year round, weather permitting. If the wind chill is below 40º or if the heat index reaches 90º during the summer we will offer alternative gross motor play indoors instead.
